Testimonial:
New Horizons have worked for us on numerous occasions and each time we have been impressed with their profesionalism and hard work. They have been straight talking but freindly, 'not always found together' and the results have always been first class.

Project:Community Hub Development in Shaftesbury Feasibility Study
Our commission was to enable the Shaftesbury Town Council and Area Community Partnership to assess the feasibility of a new community hub development in Shaftesbury.
Through consultation we established community, stakeholder and strategic need.
Our research provided background intelligence which helped us assess the current market In the Blackmore Vale for those activities identified during the consultation.
We assessed a number of potential available sites in Shaftesbury which could accommodate the proposed community hub facility.
Outline costing provided both capital and revenue cost estimates for three new facility mix options.
Outcome 1
The the business case for the options appraisal assisted Shaftesbury Town Council and Area Community Partnership in making the decision to proceed with a detailed feasibility study.
Yeovil College approached Shaftesbury Town Council and Area Community Partnership to combine a £20M extension to the College with a £4M Community Hub in Shaftesbury.
With our associates Archial we led a study (RIBA stages A-B) to ascertain the feasibility of combining the two projects which involved negotiations with Yeovil College, Learning Skills Council, Local Educational Authority, North Dorset District Council, Shaftesbury Town Council, Shaftesbury & District Task Force, and others.
Outcome 2
Following a public consultation our feasibility study was accepted and the project is now being progressed by Yeovil College, Shaftesbury Town Council and Area Community Partnership.
